Dr. Tammie L. Gerke, Teaching Professor in Geology at Miami University, will share the geology and other interesting information about the national park. Get your questions answered and participate in a lively discussion on this national treasure.
This is the third of three National Parks Talks that Dr. Gerke will present this semester, all highlighting some of the newest parks. Look for her upcoming talk on Albanian Discoveries: the Excavation of the Unknown Temple of Apollonia on Tuesday, Nov. 29th, at 6:30pm.
She discusses her contributions to archaeological work in the ancient Greek colony of Apollonia.
