There's a new 3D printer in town: GHL has added the Raise3D Pro2

The TEC Lab Makerspace at the Gardner-Harvey Library has added a new 3D printer:  the Raise3D Pro 2!  This printer expands the size of objects that we can print, and also offers a higher quality print resolution.  It can use a wide array of filament types, and is completely enclosed, using an air filtration system.

You can request a 3D print and read more about 3D printing on our TEC Lab Makerspace guide.

Below are some answers to questions about 3D printing.  Let us know if you have others by using the contact information on the guide.

How much does it cost?

3D printing charges are based on how long it takes to print an item.  The first hour of printing is free.  Each additional hour will cost $1.00.

How big of an object can I print?

Our largest printer can print in these dimensions: 11 × 12 × 11.8 inches (280 × 305 × 300 mm)

What colors can I print in?

We have many filament colors.  See our current list.

Can I print anything I want to?

We ask that you respect the intellectual property of others and follow U.S. copyright laws, and not create any objects for the purpose of endangering anyone, both in keeping with the Miami University 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Policy.
